Safety as a culture,
not a checklist.
In air medical transport, safety is the product. Everything we do — training, maintenance, dispatch, clinical care — is built around minimizing risk and protecting the patient.
Our safety philosophy
The worst mistake in aviation is the one nobody caught in time. We operate a Safety Management System (SMS) that prioritizes anonymous reporting, continuous monitoring, and blameless post-mission review. Pilots, crews, and dispatchers can ground a flight at any time, for any reason, without justification.
Accreditations
- CAMTS accredited partners. In the USA, the aircraft we arrange are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, the industry gold standard.
- FAA Part 135 certified partners. Air carrier operations held to commercial-standard oversight.
- ARGUS Platinum rated partners. Top-tier safety audit for business aviation.
- Wyvern Wingman compliant partners. Independent safety verification.
- HIPAA-compliant. Patient data handled with the same care as patient health.
Flight crew standards
Captains exceed FAA requirements by significant margins. Minimum 5,000 total flight hours, 3,000 hours pilot-in-command, type-rated on every aircraft they fly. Pilots undergo simulator training annually.
Aircraft maintenance
Maintenance is performed by FAA-certified technicians on a regular schedule and replace components before they reach manufacturer fatigue limits. All maintenance records are available for client review.
Go / no-go decisions
Weather, crew rest, runway conditions, and aircraft status are evaluated by independent flight operations staff. If there's a reason to delay, we delay. We'd rather explain a postponement than mitigate a tragedy.
Continuous improvement
Every flight ends with a debrief. Every anomaly — no matter how minor — is logged. We track trends, publish findings internally, and update procedures when we learn something new. That's how a long safety record gets built: one honest conversation at a time.
Every mission starts with a conversation.
Whether you need a quote, a second opinion on a transfer plan, or an immediate bedside pickup — we're standing by.
