When international transport is needed
A traveler who has a cardiac event on holiday. An executive injured on assignment. A family member who falls ill while visiting relatives overseas. Any of these scenarios can require getting a patient home — or to a higher level of care — across international airspace.
What we coordinate
- Overflight & landing permits. Filed in advance for every country on the routing.
- Customs and immigration. Patient, family, and crew documentation handled by our operations team.
- Ground transport on both ends. Ambulance services pre-positioned at pickup and destination.
- Local medical coordination. Bedside communication in the patient's language whenever possible.
- Receiving hospital arrangement. Direct admission coordination so the patient doesn't wait in the ER on arrival.
Aircraft for the mission
For transatlantic and transpacific missions, we deploy our long-range Bombardier Challenger or Gulfstream aircraft. For regional international transports — the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe — our mid-range Learjet and Hawker fleet is typically more efficient. Our medical director selects the right aircraft based on the patient's condition, range, and equipment needs.
Pricing
International missions typically range from $30,000 to $200,000+ depending on distance and complexity. Travel insurance often covers substantial portions — we coordinate directly with major international assistance companies including Bupa Global, Allianz Partners, AXA Assistance, and GeoBlue.
Every mission starts with a conversation.
Whether you need a quote, a second opinion on a transfer plan, or an immediate bedside pickup — we're standing by.
